Ever since I was in Elementary my passion for art grew. I always preferred to color and draw instead of learning.
At the point of where im at right now, i can say that I have gotten better within time.
Art is my passion, and without it I don't know what I would do. It is a stress reliever for me,
it calms me down, it gets me in my zone, and I enter a whole different world once i start painting.

For my senior project I decided to do a painting of this butterfly. For me this painting represents freedom. Throughout my senior year at Yampah I recognize a different change. Yampah isn't any ordinary high school, it allows us to be who we are by expressing our own freedom. We all get the opportunity to get awarded by being bold and colorful. We break out our own ca coon expanding our wings ready to fly into our own way of seeing the world.
